A Message From Our Founder Henry
My personal journey that led to creating YourEDU and our vision for the future of homeschooling.
Growing up as a lifelong homeschooler in Madison, Wisconsin, I experienced firsthand both the incredible benefits and unique challenges of homeschooling. My parents dedicated themselves to providing me and my four siblings with a personalized education that traditional schools simply couldn't match.
Through their journey, I witnessed the late nights spent researching curriculum, the stress of managing state compliance requirements, and the constant worry about whether we were on track for college preparation. Despite these challenges, I also saw the joy of learning at our own pace, exploring our passions deeply, and developing critical thinking skills that served us well.
My co-founder Colin and I are building YourEDU to be the platform that every homeschooling family deserves – one that handles the administrative burden so parents can focus on what matters most: nurturing their children's love of learning and helping them reach their full potential.
This is a labor of love, and I am so honored to be able to serve the community that gave me so much!
